In the summer issue of Eastman Living we will be launching a new feature, a special section devoted to your writing, artwork and photography. To get us started, think about this:
WHAT IS IT ABOUT LIVING OR VACATIONING AT EASTMAN THAT YOU REALLY LIKE AND/OR WHAT IS IT THAT IS NOT SO PLEASING?
For example, when a friend drove up from a suburb of Boston to visit us this past winter, the first thing her Said when she walked into our house was, “Eastman is beautiful!” And it is. Living is such a beautiful place is something we really like. Yet, when I lived in a not-as beautiful own not too far from our friend, I could walk or take public transportation everywhere. I really miss that. There are good and not-so-good aspects of just about everything.
The editorial staff of Eastman Living invites you to respond to one or both of these questions in words (paragraph, story, and poem) or pictures (your art work or photography). You can e-mail your submission to eastmanliving at eastmannh.org, drop it off in the Eastman Living mailbox at the ECA office, or mail it to Eastman Living, PO Box 53, Grantham, NH 03753. The deadline for the summer issue is May 25. However, we hope to include this as a regular magazine feature, so we look forward to future writing and artwork on other topics of your choice.
